Action-A-Day for 1/24/18: Oppose Offshore Drilling That Threatens the Chesapeake Bay & Our Coasts

The Trump administration unveiled a controversial proposal on January 4 to permit drilling in most U.S. continental-shelf waters, including protected areas of the Arctic and the Atlantic.

A catastrophic spill (like the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico) could happen off our shores and devastate the healthy waters and clean beaches that are critical to the tourism and fishing industries that boost our economy.

Voice your opposition to offshore drilling expansions. #SaveTheBay #DefendOurCoasts #OffshoreDrilling

TAKE ACTION
1.  Tell Governor Larry Hogan to defend the Chesapeake Bay
Last summer, he stated opposition to offshore drilling for Maryland. We need to make sure he stands by that position.  Urge Hogan to actively press the Trump Administration & the Department of Interior on offshore drilling for Maryland.
