Action-a-Day 5/7: Service Sunday- How about giving a rescue gift for Mother's Day this year?

Want to buy mom something a bit different this year for Mother's Day? The International Rescue Committee offers rescue gifts that provide health care and opportunity to those in need.  Some of their recommended gifts for Mother's Day include a healthy pregnancy, a newborn baby kit, and a year of school. Find these and many more options on their website at www.gifts.rescue.org  Once you purchase the gift, you have the option of IRC sending a card or e-card to the recipient on the date of your choice.  How about you include a note to tell your mom or any other amazing woman in your life why they are inspiring to you?  I bet it will be a gift they never forget.

These gifts don't just have to be for mom, they can be purchased for Father's Day, a birthday or even for a graduation gift.
