SAMPLE POSTCARD/LETTER SCRIPT (Please make this your own): Americans need and want affordable healthcare that will cover EVERYONE and will bring costs down by reducing administrative waste and private insurance company profit. Single payer systems are top notch in many of the world’s developed nations while the US is lagging behind. Single payer systems are pro-business as they reduce employee benefit costs for employers and employees are easier to retain without health insurance benefits being a factor. The benefits of single payer are immense for all American business owners, from the family owned storefront to the largest of corporations. Please support HR 676 as the only health reform plan that is both fiscally and socially responsible.

BACKGROUND: On 3/24/17 HR 1628 The American Health Care Act of 2017 was pulled from the House of Representatives, minutes before a vote was supposed to take place, due to an immense lack of support from both Democrats and a large group of Republicans. HR 676 would provide coverage for all Americans, regardless of demographic.
