There are numerous volunteer opportunities and even an event specifically for learning about volunteer opportunities within our community coming up this month, so mark your calendars!
1. Action: First, fill up on on some pancakes at Applebee's in Westminster on Saturday, April 22nd from 8a-10am to support the Westminster Community Center of Shalom Westminster Community Center.
Additional Information: All you can eat pancakes, sausage, and drinks for $7 for adults and $5 for kids. 2. Action: Get some friends together and form a team to participate in Comcast Cares Day on Saturday, April 22nd. Volunteers will perform service projects throughout Westminster, earning $20 for the Boys and Girls Club for EACH volunteer. Students will also receive service hours. Volunteers get a free Comcast Cares t-shirt.

3. Action: Attend the EXPO-SEE at Dutterer Park on Saturday, April 22nd from 10am-4pm. The EXPO-SEE is a free event organized to showcase the volunteer and nonprofit groups who benefit our community and is hosted by the Door to Virtue Masonic Lodge and Community Foundation of Carroll County.

4. Action: Attend the Community Garden Orientation on Tuesday, April 25th from 4:30-5:30p at Human Services Programs of Carroll County, Inc. located at 10 Distillery Drive.
Have you ever wanted to use your love of gardening to give back to the community? Here's your chance. Come to the Community Garden orientation to find out how to help grow food to benefit those in need in Carroll County.
This is a great project for students who need service learning hours! Come check it out.
