Action-ADay: 4/10/17. Follow The Money

ACTION:  Follow the money:   $$$$$$$$$$$$$

1).  Support the TAX TRANSPARENCY ACT introduced into the US House of Representatives in January 2017.

2).  Attend the TAX March on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Washington DC;  OR one of the satellite marches in one of the 42 states across the country.  OR one of 5 worldwide Marches.

OVERVIEW:  The need to continue to build pressure on #45 can be accomplished with yet another show of power by the people.  The release of his tax returns, would help the public understand his business dealings, debts and ties with foreign governments.  Additionally, so that future generations aren't saddled with such convoluted concerns, a bill has been introduced into the House which would make it mandatory that any future candidates for the highest office, be compelled to produce the three most recent years of their returns.  If they do not comply, strict measures will be employed to mandate compliance.

1). Go to the Tax March website sign up for a local march. Tell your friends to sign up, too.

2). Call Your representative and request that they support the Tax Transparency Act, H.R. 305.

Sample Script:  Representative _______________________, please help the American People and the U.S. Government to protect our sovereignty by signing the Tax Transparency Act into law.   I need to know where my President's loyalties reside.  Are they with the USA or with personal wealth and foreign entanglements?   Please support this bill!  Thank you

----------  Saturday April 15, 2017: " We march because it is in the best interest of the American people to know what financial entanglements and conflicts of interest our leaders have. Because we need to know if the president is personally profiting from the policies he is proposing. And because we want know if he has contributed his fair share of taxes. We march because we will not stand by while the rich and the powerful govern this country guided only by their personal best interests, and not the best interests of the American people as a whole."

------------  Introduced in the House (01/05/2017)
Presidential Tax Transparency Act. H.R. 305
This bill amends the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 to require the President and certain candidates for President to disclose federal income tax returns for the three most recent taxable years in reports filed with either the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) or the Federal Election Commission (FEC), in the case of a candidate.  The OGE or the FEC must make the disclosed tax returns publicly available after making appropriate redactions. If the income tax returns are not disclosed as required by this bill, the OGE or the FEC must request the returns from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).  The bill amends the Internal Revenue Code to require the IRS, upon receiving a written request from the FEC or the OGE, to provide any income tax return that is required to be disclosed under this bill.  The bill also establishes civil and criminal penalties for failing to file or falsifying income tax returns that are required to be disclosed pursuant to this bill.
