ACTION: Visit the Carroll County Farmer’s Market “Spring Fling” at the Agricultural Center between 8:00am – 2:00pm and shop local!
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Stress. Information overload. Exhaustion. We’re all feeling it. Time for some retail therapy! Head over to the Ag Center for the Carroll County Farmer’s Market “Spring Fling” between 8:00am and 2:00pm. This free event will feature between 75 and 100 local vendors. What a great way to shop and support local farmers, artists, and bakers. Some of the products you can find will include organic meats, fresh eggs, jams and jellies, gourmet foods, home-baked goods, plants, flowers, handmade crafts, and fine arts.
Also, a REMINDER that tomorrow is Shepherd's Staff's first annual Empty Bowls of Carroll County on Sunday, March 26th between 12-2pm at St. Paul's UCC located at 17 Bond St. in Westminster.
Empty Bowls was created to bring awareness to hunger of all types, foster community, and raise funds to support those in need. Participants will experience a delicious sampling of soups provided and served by local churches and restaurants.
Ticket price includes soup, bread, water and a take-home, ceramic bowl. Desserts and beverages will be available for an additional donation.
This family-friendly event will include musical entertainment, a Kid's Craft Corner, and a fun, Silent Auction.
$10 per person, children 5 and under are free
