Action-A-Day 3/15: Join the Ides of Trump Postcard Campaign

ACTION: Mail  the White House a postcard that publicly expresses your opposition to the actions of the Trump administration, as part of The Ides of Trump postcard campaign.

WHAT & WHEN:
Focus your postcard message on an issue important to you: healthcare access, the environment, conflicts of interest, defending press freedom, women's rights, racial discrimination, DAPL, immigration, economic opportunity and income inequality, government transparency, education, religious freedom, the existence of facts, etc.  Mailing your postcard today (March 15) along with other participants across the country and around the world helps to increase our impact. Show that opposition to POTUS 45 is real, is widespread, and isn't going away until our voices are heard.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Write one postcard or many. Tell the Trump administration why you Resist.

Write #TheIdes or #TheIdesOfTrump somewhere on each of your postcards.

Please DO NOT write or depict anything violent or encouraging of violence.

Address your postcard to:

The President (for now)
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

Take a photograph of your postcard & post it to social media with the hashtags #TheIdes or #TheIdesOfTrump. Tagging allows posts to show up in searches and helps amplify our message.

Spread the word! Encourage friends to take part.

Keep an eye out for the next postcard campaign. This first event is targeted to the White House, but future campaigns, with other targets (Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, etc.), are planned.
