2. Head to Newark, Delaware on Saturday, February 11 at 9 am to canvass and attend a rally with former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley in support of Stephanie Hansen for DE State Senate District 10.

Please fill out this form  if you’re interested, and someone will get back to you with details soon.

The first "Sister District" race is well underway, and because it’s so critical, we are asking every volunteer in every district to support that race until the finish line on February 25. Stephanie Hansen is running for Delaware State Senate in District 10. The candidates have raised more money in this election than ever before in the history of this seat.

In fact, together with Flippable, Sister District has helped to raise over $87,000. But we can't stop now. This race is drawing a lot of attention from Republicans because they understand how important it is---if Stephanie loses, the Democrats will lose control of the State Senate and be down to only 5 trifectas, while the Republicans have 25. (A trifecta is a state where one party controls both legislative bodies and the governorship---this is key to redistricting.)

Stephanie is a truly fantastic candidate. She is a committed and reliable progressive, a working mother, and a tireless advocate. She opposed Betsy Devos' nomination as Secretary of Education, and has been endorsed by the Delaware Sierra Club. Let's help her become Delaware's newest state senator. Find her on Facebook, follow her on Twitter, and support her campaign today. The February 25 election is less than three weeks away so there’s no time to waste.

Helping Delaware's state senate remain in Democratic control is important for our larger goals.
